Abstract: Zhang Xiu, as the co-creator and scholar of the Northern Song Dynasty, built a philosophical system covering various aspects such as heaven, Taoism, nature, and mental theory, which includes rich mental thinking. It should be pointed out that Zhang Xiu’s mind has its own characteristics, which is different from the mind that later came to Xiangshan and Wang Yangming with “heart” as the main body. At that time, there are the following shortcomings in the discussion field of Zhang Xiuxin: there is a lack of self-awareness in the basic problem of “mind-object” relationship, only know one thing but not the second about Zhang Xiuxin’s “mind-object” relationship, and there is also some neglect of the theoretical basis of the “mind-object” relationship. In this regard, there is a need to use Zhang Shu’s three mental and natural issues as the field of viewing, and use Zhang Shu’s basic questions as the main line of exploration, and construct and explain Zhang Shu’s structural key points from three aspects: 1. The three missions of the mental and natural issues; 2. The shape planning of the “mind-object” relationship; 3. The theoretical basis of the “mind-object” relationship. Finally, we will briefly summarize the philosophical characteristics, historical influences and modern meanings of Zhang Suxin’s learning.

1. Three subjects of mind and nature
